this bitch is alder's best friend! she's been in his life since he was still an ornery apprentice-- whether she's a bit younger or the same age is up to you, dear adopter! despite their extremely close relationship, they're exact opposites-- they balance one another out. how, you might ask? keep reading to find out!

PERSONALITY TYPE; ENTERTAINER ESFP-A
ever the extrovert, this she-cat is the life of the party. she's confident, she's loud, and she's excited. she enjoys a good riot ever now and then, too. despite her in-your-face personality, she's also very empathetic, and oftentimes her emotions guide her through life. she's never shy to tell someone how she feels, even if it comes to bite her in the ass later in life.
she sees what she wants, and she gets it. almost nothing gets in the way of her dreams-- well, whatever her dream is that day.

she cares about those she knows, and she fights fiercely to protect them. she is alder's attached-at-the-hip counterpart, almost always by his side. she's been with him throughout his entire career as a warrior, and she supported him at his worst. she encourages him at his best, and she's there for him everywhere in between. they often do have petty arguments, but they always end on a positive note and they can never stay mad at one another. they're snarky and quick with each other, constantly teasing one another. it's all in good-natured fun!

she's his god-given solace, and he will seek her out when he needs to relieve his stress. they call each other every name possible except for their own-- baby, sweetheart, cutie, honey, sugar, my love-- and it's all platonic. they're just those kind of friends, i guess!

6 moons old: the first encounter- young and excited, they're first entering into apprenticeship! shortly after their ceremony, they were placed on a training patrol together. she pushed him down for accidentally brushing up against her. they've been best friends ever since!
9 moons: the heist- alder's other friends (toadpaw, hazelpaw and volepaw) are certain that they are in love, and therefore deem them both cootie-infested and gross. as retaliation, alder and his best friend (we'll refer to her as The Bad Bitch), The Bad Bitch, pull off a never-before-seen-in-the-history-of-windclan-apprenticeship prank. they collect all of the frogs that have wandered into their territory and they bury them in the apprentice's nests-- leaving them a very unfortunate mess to clean up.
13 moons: new names- the day has come! The Bad Bitch and her dear friend alderpaw are to be given their warrior names- along with a few others! alderpaw becomes aldersnap, toadpaw becomes toadjaw, hazelpaw becomes hazelwhisker, and volepaw becomes volesnarl. The Bad Bitch, of course, receives an equally awesome name. they can't seem to stay quiet during the night like they were supposed to. she smacks him in the face for making a joke about her weird feet (they're not weird, he's just mean).
20 moons: that awkward night- The Bad Bitch and aldersnap make the unfortunate realization that they have crushes on one another! oh, stars, that's gotta be a mistake. surely they wouldn't be attracted to one another! turns out it was the hype their friends kept making. they still think that's gross. the real awkwardness came from his admission of feelings for a young warrior he'd met named applebreeze-- she's gentle, soft-spoken, and the most generous cat he'd ever met. problem is, The Bad Bitch had recently had an almost-fling with applebreeze's brother, and he wasn't too happy when he was rejected. yikes.
30 moons: the proposal- The Bad Bitch helps aldersnap come up with an elaborate proposal for applebreeze, because she deserves the best and The Bad Bitch is quite sure that she does, in fact, know best. to hell with the smart ones! applebreeze says yes, and The Bad Bitch takes credit for the entire relationship. she demands to be the godmother of their future kits. aldersnap, that same day, is made deputy. she also takes credit, despite her having absolutely nothing to do with it. "make me deputy when you're leader, or i will eat you," she says.
35 moons: the leadership- aldersnap becomes alderstar! The Bad Bitch is super excited, but sort of sad when she realizes they'll be sleeping in different dens-- who will pull off epic heists with her now?
48 moons: life, birth, death- applebreeze, after suffering complications during her kitting, passes away. alderstar is desperate, hoping she'll wake up. while he's preoccupied, The Bad Bitch helps the medicine cat deliver the kitten, only to discover that he was stillborn. The Bad Bitch tries to get alderstar to leave the den-- he refuses, and when his eyes finally see what she was trying to hide from him, he runs out, and for the rest of the night he is MIA. he comes back the next morning a shell of who he was.
49 moons: what did you do?- alderstar comes back to camp late one night, covered in blood and mud, a limp apparent in his walk. before she can even speak, he walks right past her and into his den, collapsing into his nest. she knows what he needs. albeit cautiously, she walks into his den and lays next to him, as if the weight of her body would somehow alleviate him of his stress. little does she know, it does.
50 moons: the accusation- alderstar is accused of murder, and The Bad Bitch can't believe it. she knows what she saw that night-- how he looked. she'd noticed the fresh scar spanning down his jaw-- she'd seen his eyes. he looked haunted. but she refuses to doubt him-- he says he didn't do it, so he didn't. right?
